Factory building in to Baranovichi has been planned for 1946. To place it in operation it was planned on November, 1st, 1946 But in September, 1946 have begun the activity the joiner's and forge-mechanical workshops allocated Baranovichsky облстройтрестом on independent balance, as temporarily operating, shops of factory of building details. Building of the factory proceeded within October – December and by the end of 1946 it has been placed in operation.

Throughout the activity the factory repeatedly changed the departmental submission and the name. Since 1948 it «Factory of building details». Since 1958 – «Factory стройдеталей № 1». Since 1960 – «Factory стройдеталей № 3». From the moment of introduction in operation the factory submitted Baranovichsky regional buiding company the Ministries of construction engineering building BSSR, with 1953 – Baranovichsky стройтресту № 5 same ministries, since 1954 to the ministry of city and rural building BSSR, and since 1955 – to Central administrative board of the industrial enterprises of Central administrative board of the industrial enterprises of building at SM BSSR.

In 1958-1959 – the factory has passed in department of specialized trust № 22 "Strojdetal" of the Ministry of building BSSR, in 1960 – in conducting "Building industry" of the same Ministry, since 1967 the factory has departed in submission to industrial industrial complex on manufacturing, acquisition, transportation and installation of building designs of "Strojmontazhindustrija" of the Ministry of industrial building BSSR. The factory was engaged in release of saw-timbers, joiner's products (door and window blocks, a board for a floor, etc.) and pig-iron molding.

According to the order of the Ministry of wood and woodworking industry BSSR № 96 from July, 6th, 1973 «About the further perfection of structure of management and creation of production associations in system of the Ministry of wood and woodworking industry BSSR» since June, 1st, 1973 on the basis of factory of building details № 3 was created Baranovichsky industrial woodworking association (ПДО) with entering into it: Baranovichsky factory стройдеталей (headquarters plant), Brest and Pinsky sites of building details. It has been subordinated PDO directly to the Ministry of wood and woodworking industry BSSR.

In 1978 the shop on container manufacture, wood products and planed molded has been placed in operation. The shop of window blocks first in Belarus on the basis of the domestic semi-automatic complex lines ОК-250, removed in Republic a problem of maintenance is constructed and has become operational by windows of under construction habitation in 1986.

In 1994 ПДО "Baranovichidrev" it has been reorganized in Open joint-stock company "Барановичидрев". In 1996 of Open Society "Baranovicidrev" began to be a part of "the architecture and building Ministry», the given controls to concern and now.

The enterprise collective the first in Republic has introduced manufacture of window blocks with the raised factor of thermal resistance and high consumer qualities. It became possible thanks to the advanced European technologies on installation of a threefold glass cover and modern accessories. Today factory readiness of products steadily raises – the line of coloring of windows of the Italian manufacture is established, the glass cover столярки, installation of locks, latches is introduced. Release of window blocks with the threefold glass cover, corresponding to the European standards and using a stable demand is adjusted.
